Lake Nipissing sits at the crossroads of Northern and Central Ontario, offering diverse fishing for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and lake trout. As one of the deepest lakes in Ontario (70 m), it supports a complex ecosystem with both warm-water and cold-water species. The surrounding region — including North Bay, Callander, and Mattawa — provides excellent access from both shore and paddle craft.
